I can't believe my little boy will be one in just a few days! It's gone so quickly. He's absolutely adorable and I find myself just looking at him and thinking about how lucky I am to have him (of course I'm not the only mum who feels this way about her children!). 2 years ago I was wondering whether I'd ever be able to have children so I'm very grateful.

Christmas, although a time of great joy and celebration, can also be the most stressful of times for even the best of parents, with the family home chaotic and often besieged by visitors. I thought I'd better update my blog as my little boy is now 3 months old! He's absolutely gorgeous and sleeping through the night now which is brilliant.

I just wanted to share my excitement with you. James signed his very first signs (”I’m thirsty” and “I’m hungry”). I was about to lose hope and give up teaching him but last night as I was changing his nappy and getting him ready for bed he signed “I’m thirsty”. I’ve been signing away with Bamba for 3 weeks but now it looks like we’ve cracked it.

Baby Not Included have just done an independent review of bamba's first comforts:

"I volunteered my youngest son who will be 6 months in a weeks time. I have to admit to being a baby signing novice but thought it could be a good excuse to spend some one-2-one with my baby.

Well woweeeee....
