My baby son is 16 months old and for the last week has been up all night with teething pains. His gums are swollen and you can feel the tooth under the gum. These are his back teeth, and yet he never had any problems at all with his front teeth.
I have found the best way to help him with the teething pain is Calpol and Dentinox. During the day however, he likes an ice pole, which is basically an ice lolly, we find that this then takes the edge off his teething pain by numbing it. This is not a suitable method for small babies though due to the coldness. read more »
